The world needs more creativity. I need to be more creative. You need to be more creative. We all need to use our creative gifts; we received them for a reason. When we all use our creative gifts, the world is a better place; we are happier and more satisfied and that spills over into every other aspect of our lives and influences those around us in our homes, workplaces, and communities.
My curiosity and interest in personal development led me to life coaching and, naturally, I chose a creative coaching modality. It most excites me to coach creative people (and we're all creative!) to make time and space in their lives to get their creative work done. Creative work is sacred work, and I consider it an honor to help you do your sacred work.
Whether you take advantage of my free resources, such as blog articles and ebooklets, or take a class with me or sign up for one-on-one coaching, I hope what I'm doing here will inspire you to do more creative work.
That is my mission and my passion, to make the world a more creative place.
Explore your depths of creativity, expression, and what your personal brand is of each. You have something amazing to share with the world. Do you creative work. Go deeper.
More about me ...
I am a dreamer, a writer, an artist, a wonderer, and an optimist.
I write fiction. I doodle, draw, and paint. I make collages. Occasionally I knit.
I read tarot cards; I started in 1993.
I'm very curious. I like learning and figuring things out. I'm currently learning to meditate, play piano, and speak Italian. I know intermediate French.
I like yoga and swimming, and I recently started boxing. I've been a vegetarian since I was 13.
I love reading, especially Russian or British literature, and I watch tons of movies in every genre. One day soon, I'll write a screenplay.
I've written first drafts of five novels. I have a short story in the fiction anthology "Fight Like a Girl".
I was an English major in college. When I was younger, I wanted to be a marine biologist.
I love animals. I love watching nature programs and I know lots of random animal facts.
I have a Siamese cat named Lucy and a Chihuahua named Riker.
I like to make things. I make soap, I knit, I paint, I cook, and I sew a little. I like organizing and planning things.
If I could invite 5 historical figures to a time-travel dinner, I would pick George Gordon - Lord Byron, Lev Tolstoi, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Claude Monet, and Marilyn Monroe.
I have been a member of Toastmasters, International (an organization for developing speaking and leadership skills) since October 2009. I served as my club president for one year and as an area governor, overseeing 5 other clubs. On July 1, 2014, I earned the designation of Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM)! I've given over 75 speeches as part of my Toast of Inverness club.
I completed my certification as an ARTbundance coach and practitioner in June 2013.

"I try to practice yoga, meditation, and writing every day. Some days I also practice procrastination, avoidance, and insecurity. I don't want to practice those things, but they creep up on me regardless, so it's important to pay attention to the things you're practicing so that you can cultivate the positives and weed-out the negatives."
